I read through Philippine Daily Inquirer, a local and reliable broadsheet that it's a good thing that a survey made by Universal McCann Erickson, that Filipinos are more concerned of the environment nowadays. Respondents range from 18-40 years old and have confirmed that their deterioration of their health were caused by environmental factors, it has also affected their physical looks.

It's a good thing that we are now more aware of what's happening with our environment. The survey even revealed that they are now more concerned of global warming than politics!

Should we all now make a move to save our only home? Always remember that the littlest things can do so much. Do your share for the world!

Lately I've realized that I have been gloomy, I get irritated with the darnest things, I've been too problematic with my life and I've been thinking,...what actually made me to be like "this"? I was once jolly,...carefree and and a person who's not dictated by society. a non conformist and I must say that I lived life that way and I got no regrets about it.

Now i've changed a lot! I worry too much,...i don't appreciate things that must be appreciated! i used to be pleased easily by other people...don't know what happened.... i guess when you mature,...problems are more visible,...more problems go your way.

But I made a vow to myself to be thankful of each day for everything that I have in my life...more are less fortunate...I'm happy I'm updating my blog now...others don't have the luxury of time to do what am doing now!

do I make sense? i guess this post are bits and pieces of what I ought to scream to the whole world! again.....from this day on...I'll try to be ME again! I'll be thankful for each morning,...i'll be happy for the littlest things...and I'll try to be positive as much as i can.

First off, I would like to apologize for not being able to update my blog for the past 60 days! So much had happened after 2 months and most of my time were given to my other activities which had made me a busy bee these past few months.

After that much awaited boracay trip and being able to relax for a couple of days which I badly needed by the way made me recharge myself and evaluate things I want to pursue in life.

What has happened?....a couple of friends and my hubby put up an events management company which will cater to corporate clients. Our services will include product launches, seminars, ad concepts/designs, promo campaigns and events management to name a few.

Since our first days of meeting in realizing this business, we were lucky enough that there are at least 4 projects that we're working on right now. One is a golf tournament, the other is a mini concert, the other one will be a media campaign for a company and hopefully the last one and the biggest so far,...will be a concert of an international singer /group or band.

While writing this post i realized that what I have been doing now somehow affected my visions of earning online. Some facts like I havent' continued my work with typeinternational for the past 2 months now, I haven't updated my blog rolls of earning money and even my blog directory to attract more visitors, I also have not given time to my commitment of updating fashion here in my blog! My gosh! a lot of things was taken for granted! so sorry to those of you who gave or spare some time to at least read my blog! at the same time,...super thanks for increasing my counter! the last time I visited my blog the counter was less than a hundred!!!

Oh and by the way, i told you that I will be posting boracay pics right? here are a few. =)

Boracay Summer

It's been so long again since I visited my own blog. I got a long rest and needed a vacation that needs to be attended and treated,...that's why drew and I and a couple of friends headed to the Philippines' party place and paradise,....nowhere else but BORACAY!

The crowd is a mixture of different races....pinoys comprised maybe only about 30% and the rest are foreigners. I was surprised to see that majority of them are koreans. ...a lot were Americans, Brazilians, Germans, and so many more! The list goes on...

It's a good thing that the local police of Boracay made the efforts to stop...if not stop, minimize prostitution. The last time I was there was Febrauary of 2005 and I can honestly say that prostitution was very prominent during that time,...yes there were roving patrols, there were arrested prositutes and pimps but night by night, they continue to sell their souls to men. When you see these incidents,..paradise seemed Lost.

But then again, this year was really a big improvement for Boracay! Cheers to the locals for making the efforts to maintain the integrity of the Island!
We stayed at Lorezon South,..owned by Zaldy Jimenez! Service was excellent! Amenities are first class! Located at Station 3. We partied the nights at Summer Place, Hey Jude!, Cocomangas...We had some dinners and lunches at d'mall,...Mang Inasal, Lemon Cafe..and of course had our share of Shakes at Jonas.

4 friends, a wedding and a birthday!

Last night, we attended the wedding of Ai and Harry, it was held in Eagle's Nest in Antipolo overlooking the whole of Metro Manila.

The wedding was intimate, only close relatives and friends were invited, but the wedding is no ordinary because it was a vow made by two men who committed themselves before God to love each other til their last breath.

It is very well known that same sex marriage is not honored by the catholic church....so who officiated the ceremony?

Fr. Richard R. Mickley, O.S. Ae., Ph. D. Abbot, The Order of St. Aelred officiated the celebration. Let me talk about St. Aelred first.

St. Aelred (1110-1167)

St. Aelred was a Cistercian, a Trappist as Cistercians are known today. St. Bernard of Clairvaux was one of the best-known Cistercians. In fact, he inspired St. Aelred's first book on love and caused the founding of Rievaulx, the monastery (abbey) St. Aelred served for 20 years as abbot.
Thomas Merton is perhaps the best-known of modern world Trappist. Like Father Merton, Abbot Aelred was a writer -- in many spiritually-related fields. His most popular works, those which gained him a place in late patristic literature, are two treatises on love and friendship: The Mirror of Love (often called Mirror of Charity) and Spiritual Friendship. Both are treasure houses.

This was my first time to attend such ceremony. A union between two people, condemned by the Catholic Church, but Fr. Richard who was ordained by the church but later decided to go on his own since in his beliefs,....and as written in the bible, ALL IS WELCOME BY GOD, he decided to give blessings to couples who would want to get married. I'm really happy to be a part of Ai's wedding for in their eyes, you'll clearly see their love as they utter their vows to each other.

After attending the wedding, we headed to Eastwood City and met with Glenda and Allan. We also celebrated my husband's birthday who is now 30 years old! We stayed at Jack's Loft up until 3 am! Our share of stories seemed not to end because this was the longest time that we didn't get to see each other! We really missed them a lot!!!

We also saw Oka and Timmy Panganiban! He just came from hongkong and is having an 11-day vacation here in Manila. It was through him that we learned of the success of our batchmates, Toto being a chef and a columnist in Manila Bulletin, Kenneth having his own convenience store and of course Oka, having the time of his life being so famous in Hongkong together with his band! ...and so on!

Time's been moving so fast!....Life's too short! We're not getting any younger. Enjoy everything that life has to offer! I can say I've been through a lot of ups and downs in my life, I've been a good daughter, a good student,..a good friend, a wild chic, a rocker, a hip-hopper! (hehe) As long as there's life, there's a lot of things still waiting to be discovered and experienced. Like attending to the wedding of a good friend,...like there's a certain St. Aelred, the saint of homosexuls. I'm proud to say that i've lived my life! But the story doesn't have to end here...there's still a lot to explore!

I'd like to share with you another source of inspiration for bloggers out there like me who have kept their hopes high in earning from the internet. I just can't sleep last night and the only solution to get me out of insomnia is to read magazines.

I browsed the pages of the February issue of working moms and as I scanned through it, I came across an article that widened my perspectives towards earning from the internet.

As I've told you previously, I'm a newbie in this field. I was working my way on trying to earn from my blog by updating my blog as frequent as possible. I'll be honest, my progress is to be compared to a turtle but I'm keeping my hopes high... PATIENCE IS THE KEY!

Going back to the article that I'm telling you, I've learned that there are several sites out there who would hire free lance writers for companies in need of content for their particular industry.
The writer of the article earns an average of $300-600 per month. All he did was go to several bidding sites and bid on a certain project, do the task and wait for the payment. He worked for a bag company and so he was assigned to write everything and anything that is connected with bags! It's actually one of my dream jobs since I am a bagaholic! His earnings is good enough for a part- time work! $300 is a lot of money here in the Philippines!

Here are some of his tips:
1. Update your blog daily if possible.
2. Check on bidding sites and bid on a project that you know you excel.
3. The trick to be on top of google and yahoo rankings is to know the keywords, links and number of hits. ( go to technorati to get to know more about this,...it's here on my blog,...upper right corner. Just click on it!)

Weekend getaway! vicky's birthday.

My friends and I went to Tagaytay for a weekend getaway. We left Manila around 12:00 a.m. on a friday night...which is actually a saturday morning...technically speaking. By the way, we went to Tagayatay to celebrate Vicky's birthday.

We arrived at Ayi's place around 2am after a couple of stop overs for coffee and cig break. The four of us are already tired even after having mocha fraps. The night has already ended and a new day is fast approaching. We all headed straight to our rooms and hopefully the next day will be filled with fun and excitement.

Saturday was a good day! We had our breakfast aroung 11am...after a couple of hours, Vince started setting up the videoke system and as soon as it got hooked-up, songs were already pouring and the menu list was overwhelming as the spaces of the song list were already filled up! Looks like we'll be singing all night long! Ayis' kids were also there. Enzo's grown soooo big and Little Noah's still looks fragile as a baby! Look how cute he is in this picture!

As the night went on,...all we did was sing songs and get drunk! But we never did got drunk because the weather's so cold! We didn't even used the pool as no one got the guts to get goose bumps after taking a dip. We all know how cold that night was!

We slept a little early...we slept maybe around 12:30-1am. Maybe because we started drinking very early.

The following day,...we ate our breakfast...around 11:00a.m. went to some tourist spots and finally had our lunch around 2:30pm at the ever famous leslie's...then went straight home. All in all, we felt really relaxed during the weekend with a little partying to keep our weekend getaway truly one of a kind!

Many days have passed and I finally had the time again to write my ramblings here on my blog. As I've been saying for quite some time now,...I've been very very busy!

So many things have happened around the world in here in my lovely homeland.

First off, the shocking news on the tragic death of Anna Nicole Smith. We still need to wait for the final results of the autopsy for the real cause of death! The doctors have already removed from the list of speculations the she died of drug abuse or that she comitted suicide. There were no traces of illegal drugs that were found on Anna's body. There were also no signs of physical abuse and what has been discovered in Anna's hotel room was only medicated drugs. So there's really no way that she has been on the influence of illegal drugs. Although the doctors think that one possible cause is that she maybe overdosed with these prescribed drugs.

Of all the many possibilites which cause Anna's death, 2 cases were isolated. One is overdose from medicated drugs, the other may be death through natural causes.

We still have to wait for a maximum of 3 weeks to finally know the results.

Back in my homeland, it's also very shocking that our boxing hero. Manny Pacquiao finally decides to run for congress!!!

A lot have different opinions about it but as for me, this could be the end of his boxing career and another reason for the whole world to laugh out loud (again) !!

Manny said that he wanted to help a lot of people in his hometown which I am very greatful of because he is really known here to be very kind to others specailly to the poor. But I can't just see the point that you still have to be a politician to be able to help others.

Manny as a boxer was able to help hundreds...or maybe thousands of Filipinos with his charity work,...he was able to do this as A BOXER! He can certainly continue to help more and still be a boxer, the people's champ! No need for you to be a congressman. We love you Manny for being an inspiration to many. We loved you as a boxer! We do hope that you will continue to inspire more Filipinos. Retract your intentions to run,...and be an inspiration!

Its been a total of 4 days since i last posted here on blogger. I've been quite busy with the regular work I have and been accomplishing my typeinternational assignments.

Talking about typeinternational, If you type typeinternational in your google search tool, you will be able to find different opinions about the company,both positive and negative. I am here again to discuss my personal experiences with the company since I have been a member of it since september of 06.

Did I ever earn?

Of course I did! I wouldn't bother to continue doing the tasks if I didn't earn at all. I am proud to say that on the first two weeks, I was able to earn $100. Not bad for the amount of work I put into doing the tasks....( I work an average of 4 hours a day for 2 weeks)

iS It really hardwork? how hard is HARDWORK?

It is reaallllly hardwork! I believe in the fact that there is no way you can earn online without experiencing hardwork!

I am a marketing typist of typeinternational. Hardwork means going to several sites to be advertise work at home opportunities for clients of typeinternational. In short, your goal is to be able to amplify the visibility of typeinternational and its clients in the world of internet.

What are the fees?

There are fees imposed for every position you desire. As a marketing typist, a one time fee is imposed and another $10 for your own personal page which will be needed for you to do the tasks...

For every assignment you do, a standard fee of $5.00 will be charged for every task done. It serves as the processing fee which is needed now in the institution due to the continuous expansion of the company. They doubled the number of their employees to keep at pace with the growing number of members. This is beneficial to the members because with a lot of employees, they will be more efficient to answer our queries.

Maximum earning potential?

A night of rock with a good cause

Anyone in the Philippines, specially the youth of the early '90s surely know who the ERASERHEADS were. "The pinoy band who revived PINOY ROCK". Composed of ELY BUENDIA - vocals, MARCUS ADORO - guitars, BUDDY ZABALA - Bass & RAYMUND MARASIGAN - percussions.

This month, ELY had a heart attack at a very young age (around 30's).He underwent major surgery called andioplasty - a surgery performed to remove the blockage around the heart which prevents it from pumping....and one of the major causes of death. Andioplasty, not only sounds and looks difficult in the true sense of the word but is also one of the most expensive surgeries, that's why last night, a free concert was held at Eastwood City in Libis for the benefit of ELY BUENDIA.

Rockers unite as they gave respect to the lead vocals of e-heads. Everyone performed for free! and donation boxes are roamed around by the staff and even by the artists themselves to collect whatever amount they can have to help ELY shoulder his medical expenses and lifetime medication.

I'm sure that every pinoy, even once in his life was touched or affected somehow by the music and the magic of eraserheads.

Here are the list of some of the performers last night who testified that they were influenced by the greatness of ELY and the eraserheads that's why they performed for free to help ely recover and still hope that someday, we can hear him sing and play his guitar again.

Beginner's tips on blogging

I have been keeping my hopes high on making money out of your blogs...so far, this is my 1st week on blogging and I have been reading a lot of tips and tricks on how to be a successful blogger.

There are a lot of tips out there that every blogger can apply to make it sucessful. On my own personal experience.... I'll share with you what I have discovered.

1. Know your market - For you to really have an audience, you should know your target market. You should be able to address to their needs which will make them check out your blog on a regular basis.

For this blog, I will be focusing on the following below.

Women of 16-35 years old
Bloggers who are interested in making money from blogs - mostly work at home moms who is always in search and takes chances in making money online
Persons who would want to be kept updated when it comes to celebrities and fashion as this blog not only highlights on making money online, but also showcases my desire towards fashion! And my interest on hollywood celebrities
Loyal followers of Greys Anatomy!

As of now, I will try to concentrate on these people. The description above is a mirror of who I am, blogging is about revealing yourself to others and not imitating others just to be successful.

2. Try to maintian your blog by regularly posting on it and keeping your focus on your target market.

You should be able to keep in mind of what your audience want to read from your blog. Mine is clearly a combination of topics on making money online, fashion and the entertainment scene, and of course, a few topics about me. Your readers would also love to know a bit or two about the owner of the blog they're reading. Posting topics about you is also essential in keeping your audience longing for more on your blog as this will initiate somehow, of having a more "PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP" with your readers.

3. Blog Explosion. A site wherein you can register your blog and have it viewed by other members.

From my experience, I registered for blog explosion, unfortunately, my site was not approved. It's because my site is barely existent for 2 weeks, Before the admin of blog explosion approves your site, it must have more than 10 posts, and must be existing for 2 weeks or more. I will be applying for it again once I reached my 2nd week.

So far, these are my insights. You can always check on my other favorite links for other tips on being successful online. There are a lot of other blogs that will give you more tips to success. What I wrote here is again, just based from my experience. Hopefully my hardwork will pay off soon.

Dr. Burke's career is at stake!

This has been probably my 3rd or 4th post on this blog and as the title of my blog says...it's not only about e-commerce and fashion....it's a lot more and this includes my passion for Greys Anatomy. Eversince I've watched the first episode, I've been hooked! I sometimes search from the net about the latest happenings about the cast. I also am a member of Greys Anatomy forum and named myself Mrs. Mcdreamy as I am terribly attracted to Patrick Dempsey's character! Everytime he shows up as McDreamy my hormones started exploding! I always feel excited towards him and what will happen between him and meredith. I admit it! I'm definitely a FAN!

Under fire by his bosses at ABC and gay leaders, Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington apologized Thursday for what he called his "unacceptable in any context" comments about gay costar T.R. Knight on Golden Globes night. "I can neither defend nor explain my behavior," Washington said in a statement. "I can also no longer deny to myself that there are issues I obviously need to examine within my own soul, and I've asked for help." Apologizing to "T.R., my colleagues, the fans of the show and especially the lesbian and gay community," Washington said he "marred what should have been a perfect night" for Grey's Anatomy and hurt both Knight and "everyone who has struggled for the respect so many of us take for granted. "T.R.'s courage throughout this entire episode speaks to his tremendous character," Washington said. "I hold his talent, and T.R. as a person, in high esteem. I know a mere apology will not end this, and I intend to let my future actions prove my sincerity." Washington, who plays Dr. Preston Burke on the hit ABC show, denied in the pressroom at the Golden Globes on Monday that he ever used a gay slur in reference to Knight. "No, I did not call T.R. a faggot," said Washington. "Never happened, never happened." But during an appearance Wednesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Knight said that Washington did use the word during an on-set argument with costar Patrick Dempsey in October. "He referred to me as a faggot," he told DeGeneres. "Everyone heard it." Neil Giuliano, president of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, said in a statement Thursday night that Washington "has scheduled a meeting with us for early next week, and we look forward to exploring opportunities for moving forward together and healing some of the wounds of the past four months." Earlier GLAAD had demanded that Washington apologize for his actions. Meanwhile some fans have circulated a petition online to have the actor fired. ABC has responded by saying that Washington's remarks on Globes night were "unacceptable and are being addressed." "We have a long standing policy to create and maintain respectful workplaces for all our employees," the network said in a statement, as first reported on TVGuide.com. "We dealt with the original situation in October, and thought the issue resolved. Therefore, we are greatly dismayed that Mr. Washington chose to use such inappropriate language at the Golden Globes, language that he himself deemed 'unfortunate' in his previous public apology. We take this situation very seriously. His actions are unacceptable and are being addressed."

As every living being was tuned in at the golden globes, I of course wAS excited to see who is wearing who, who should be applauded for being in the best dress list...and who should be needing an awakening and reflection for beinfg at the worst dress list.

On my opinion, one of the actresses who stood out was Renee Zellweger. This woman knows how to work it out with juar wEaring a short green dress. The fit of his dress is well suited with her body. It looks simple and yet, glamour and elegance was exuded from her.

There's no better way of telling the world that you're out in the market again by having a change of style. For Reese, Straight hair with bangs, a vivid yellow Nina Ricci dress did the thing for her. This outfit is what people wont expect from her because in the past years, we all know she dresses with her usually demure, vintage look which is not so bad....but then again, I loved her look in this dress. Still simple,...but you can't hide away the fact that it's also smart looking which is definitely a plus again for her on wearing this dress.

Drew Barrymore looked stunning! She looks innocent with her simple gown. Her hair made-up and a clutch bag. It's true that her free-spirited, and girl-gone-wild days was over. For now, she looks renewed which actually made her more beautiful than ever.

But what really caught my attention was Cameron Diaz! What was she thinking?? She's reminiscent of Madonna or even Cindy Lauper singing Girls Just want to have fun! back in the early '80s....If this is her way of attracting her past beau,...she's a champ! Not only did she made Justin glanced for the 2nd time at her,....but she surely surprised the whole universe for wearing the ruffled dress! Way to go Cam!

Here's a look at something to drool over.

The most recent issue I had of T3 Magazine was their December '06 issue. T3 magazine tackles the most recent,...up-to-date or the gadget must-haves every month.

I immediateley fell in love with Samsung's D900. Very sleek, functional, and eye catching. It's market price as of this time is around P20-21k. I'm still thinking it over if I have to spend that much just for a phone,...but they said that when a thing can't seem to get out of your head for the longest time, then maybe you just have to satisfy your craving....hmm...my phone right now is Sonny ericsson k700i. ...seems old but it's still fully functional and still looks brand new! I know that as of now I really don't need to buy a new one as I am still satisfied with what I have...I'd still do a lot of thinking to do....maybe in a month or two...i'll finally buy a new one for me again.

Working my way to earning!

I've already added some features tomy blog like the adsense, favocarda, and other affiliate banners. I am very positive at this point that soon the relevant ads here in my site and by advertising them will soon pay bff. I've read a few about html and I admit, I still got a lot of reading to do to really understand it to the bone! It's past 2am and yet, .... a lot should be done to get my blog busy so that soon, there'll be traffic on the site which means more earnings!

I'll continue on pursuing to make my blog earn, .... and at the same time, immortalize my insights on fashion and life as a whole.

Have you ever wondered why some people simply just live their lives staying at home? Don't you ever think how were they able to sustain their living without even leaving their own homes?

I've actually questioned myself several months ago,...why do these people have the luxury of just chilling out at home??? I've heard of those kind of people located specifically at the other side of the world..(United States) livng and loving their lives as they earn while just staying at home and of course, BEING ONLINE!
